Billy Sharp produced an emphatic finish to equalise for Leeds United against Nottingham Foest last weekend.
Leeds United put an end to a losing streak last weekend with the 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest.
Leeds had suffered defeats at the hands of Ipswich Town and Fulham, but they head into the Boxing Day game against Wigan with a little bit of momentum.
Neil Redfearn will want to see a bit more creativity and precision from his attack for the game, as well as more effective and basic defending.
He’ll want the side to head into 2015 in a much better position than the one they’re currently enjoying with the aim at the club still a place, potentially alongside Forest, in the play-offs.
Matty Fryatt opened the scoring for Forest after some hesitation from the Leeds defence before Billy Sharp stepped up to emphatically finish from the penalty spot, after Leeds were awarded a spot kick.
Watch the highlights via the video below. Sharp’s penalty can be viewed from around 35 seconds in.
