Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur target Sergi Roberto bagged a goal in the Spanish Under-21s win over Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The 21-year-old midfielder is being linked with a £6 million move away from the Nou Camp despite having featured as a sub for Barcelona on three occasions already this summer.
Manchester United’s interest is easy to understand considering their need for a creative player in the middle of their team and Tottenham have shown keenness in the recent past to invest strongly in the next generation of talent.
Spain’s Under-21 side were 1-0 down against Bosnia and Herzegovina, when Sergi Roberto pounced to secure his goal, which turned out to be crucial as Spain went on to win the match 3-2.

If the young Spaniard continues to play well for the Spanish youth side and can get his foot further through the front door at Barcelona this season, it’s going to make for a very interesting summer next year.
His contract expires in 2015, which means if he’s not going to sign on at the club, they could be forced to let him go in the next summer transfer window.
What do you make of that effort?
