Erik Lamela has come a long way, and wow does it show. This video, broadcast 12 years ago on Transworld Sport, shows he always had skills to impress – and even compared him to Diego Maradona.
He looks a little different though, as you’d imagine, but courtesy of his magnificent pony tail – you would be forgiven for thinking he was a girl.
For all the youngsters featured in these sorts of profiles at a young age, it’s great to see one achieve his dream – now to kick on for Tottenham. May be he should bring back the pony tail.
