The Tottenham Hotspur loanee finds the net on his Roma debut

Federico Fazio left Tottenham Hotspur to join Roma on a season-long loan last week.
But it has not taken the Argentina defender long to open his account with the Giallorossi after finding the net within 11 minutes of his debut.
The 29-year-old, signed by Mauricio Pochettino in 2014, scored the only goal as Roma ran out 1-0 winners in a pre-season friendly over Serie B side Latina last night.

Watch the video of his goal below.

The victory also saw former Arsenal defender Thomas Vermaelen make his debut after completing a move from Barcelona.
Fazio’s Tottenham future seems more or less over. A forgetful first 18 months in Spurs’ first team saw him loaned to Sevilla – who Pochettino signed him from two years ago – for the second half of last season.
With Spurs boasting the likes of Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen and Kevin Wimmer, there was little room for Fazio – and that may still be the case if and when he returns from Roma next summer.
Tottenham kick off their Premier League season by visiting Everton on Saturday.
