The three internationals have been missing with injury for various lengths of time, but were pictured wearing the club’s new Nike strip as they approach a return to first team action.

Tottenham Hotspur’s preparation for the new season inevitably saw the usual antics taking place as the team’s players prepared for the green screen video and photo shoots necessary for television broadcasters.

And as the club uploaded footage from the shoots, as seen on their Twitter account, eagle-eyed fans will have seen a pair of long-missing stars pictured in the club’s new strip for the first time in Erik Lamela and Danny Rose, with another, Heung-Min Son, also visible after his absence over the summer.

See if you can spot them in the video below.

Lamela hasn’t featured since 25 October last year because of a hip problem, arriving off the bench and winning a penalty in the League Cup loss to Liverpool at Anfield. There has been plenty of speculation about his future in the months since and the 25-year-old is a divisive figure among the fanbase, but the Argentinian had a superb 2015/16 campaign and his return would feel like a new signing after a barren summer of transfer activity.

Rose is very much the club’s most senior fullback with Kyle Walker’s departure, also assuming the mantle of one of longest serving players on the books. He injured his knee against his old club Sunderland in January, with Ben Davies performing admirably in his absence. He will be vital once he returns to the first team, with much of the pace and energy in the wide areas surely expected from his flank.

Son’s direct running with the ball and attacking prowess was noticeable in its absence in the high-profile games in the US, after he broke his arm during the summer. The South Korean was on fire at the end of the season as he and Harry Kane netted for fun.

Though it is unlikely Lamela and Rose will be fit for the start of the season, or indeed whether Son will be risked, that three such important players will be able to make a contribution within the first few months of the season, according to the Standard, will certainly be an encouraging sign for supporters.
