Destiny Udogie has been in impressive form for Udinese this season, and the on-loan Tottenham defender has this weekend broke an impressive record following his goal against Sassuolo.

The Italian youth international scored the fastest goal in Serie A this campaign after the fullback found the back of the net after just 25 seconds, the third quickest in Europe overall behind PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe and Strasbourg forward Habib Diallo.

With three goals and two assists in all competitions this season, Udogie is proving to be quite an exciting prospect for Tottenham, especially with Antonio Conte struggling to nail down a quality left-sided wingback this season despite some strong options in Ivan Perisic and Ryan Sessegnon.

At 20-years-old, Udogie has firmly established himself as one of the most exciting attacking fullbacks in Europe, and with Tottenham’s current system crying out for such a player out on the left, the Verona-born youngster has the potential to become a game-changer for Spurs.

With Pedro Porro an outstanding long-term option out on the right, as well, Tottenham could have a fullback pairing ready to dominate the Premier League the north London side has not seen since Danny Rose and Kyle Walker, a prospect that many Spurs supporters are now only dreaming of seeing again.
