Tottenham cruised to a brilliant 5-0 win over Aston Villa on Monday and fans will love how Cristian Stellini celebrated with Son Heung-min after the full-time whistle. Son scored one, as Spurs kept their top-four hopes alive.
Coming into the match, it was a difficult one to predict. Frank Lampard has watched his side produce some excellent displays since his arrival, including Everton’s performance in a narrow 1-0 loss to Manchester City.
Tottenham meanwhile, have been incredibly inconsistent – losing to Middlesbrough and Burnley after brilliant wins over Manchester City and Leeds. On Monday, it was Tottenham that turned up, winning 5-0.
Son got one, Harry Kane got two, Sergio Reguilon scored with his first touch and Michael Keane scored an own goal. The win sees Spurs go level on points with West Ham, while boasting two games in hand on the Hammers.
Immediately after the full-time whistle, Antonio Conte’s assistant Stellini was seen absolutely delighted in the Tottenham dugout – celebrating with sheer joy with Son, in a clip posted by Twitter account Football Daily.
Tottenham morale is strong despite form, as Son and Stellini celebrate
It is a sign that the atmosphere at Spurs is excellent under Conte, despite the up-and-down form that has held the North London side back from following their rivals Arsenal into fourth place in the Premier League table.
Kane is said to be happier at Tottenham with Conte in charge, the rotation of players is seeing the likes of Harry Winks, Ryan Sessegnon, Matt Doherty and other fringe players get game time. Morale is high and it could help.
