England picked up an impressive win on Sunday evening, beating Belgium 2-1 at Wembley Stadium.
The Three Lions actually fell behind as Romelu Lukaku scored from the penalty spot having been hauled down by Eric Dier, but they roared back.
Marcus Rashford scored from the spot too after Jordan Henderson was fouled, and Mason Mount then won it in the second half.
Beating the world number one side is something of a scalp for England, especially as Gareth Southgate started without the likes of Ben Chilwell, Joe Gomez, Raheem Sterling, Hary Kane and Jadon Sancho.
Belgium may have some complaints though, given that the awarding of the first-half penalty in England’s favour was a little controversial.
Henderson went down easily under the challenge of Thomas Meunier, with the Borussia Dortmund defender perplexed by the decision.
Sky Sports captured a moment after the final whistle, in which Meunier mocked Henderson for going down too easily, but Ashley Cole defended Henderson by claiming you just have to go down sometimes when you feel contact.
Liverpool fans will no doubt chalk the incident down to a winning mentality from Henderson, who won’t have any lasting damage from Meunier’s challenge, but saw the opportunity to get England back into the game and took it – which is what winners do, even if some frown upon it.
