Sunderland goalkeeper Robbin Ruiter has become established as Chris Coleman’s number one.

While most side’s media teams are generally very conscious of what type of content that they put on their official channels in modern day football, Sunderland’s have taken a rather different approach.
Robbin Ruiter made a huge error in training yesterday, which was caught on camera, and Sunderland’s media team were all too happy to laugh at the goalkeeper’s mistake.
Ruiter fumbled a shot during a training drill, and although the ball went over the bar, he hardly looked safe in doing so.
However, Sunderland put the video out on Snapchat, much to their supporters’ disbelief.
Ruiter has established himself as Sunderland’s number one in recent weeks, but there are still some doubts over his ability.
Ruiter has rather got into Sunderland’s team by default, as Jason Steele has proven hapless since signing at the Stadium of Light.

The summer signing has now started in every match since Chris Coleman took charge, and looks set to stay in net for the rest of the season.
Ruiter will be hoping that his howlers are consigned to training though, as he can ill-afford to make any more mistakes in competitive matches, otherwise the pressure will continue to build on him.
Sunderland are next in action tomorrow in the FA Cup, when they take on Middlesbrough.
