Tottenham Hotspur have today completed their third signing of the summer, bringing in Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Matt Doherty.
Spurs needed to find a new right back this summer, especially having sold Kyle Walker-Peters to Southampton earlier this summer.
With doubts over Serge Aurier’s future, Spurs had to find a new right back – or risk going into the season with Gedson Fernandes in that spot.
Now, Tottenham have got their new right back in Doherty, with the Daily Mail reporting that the fee involved is £15million.
The 28-year-old has signed a four-year deal with Spurs, leaving Molineux after 10 years with Wolves.
An attack-minded defender who has contributed brilliantly going forward for Wolves, Doherty can now provide Spurs with a proven Premier League right back.

One interesting note is that Doherty grew up supporting Arsenal, and has now joined their bitter North London rivals in Spurs.
Tottenham have now posted a video of Doherty deleting his tweets supporting Arsenal, as the Irish international now pledges his allegiance to Spurs instead.
