The Owls duo faced an Ibrox-Easter Road dream team in what was an entertaining encounter at the Scotland camp.

Sheffield Wednesday duo Barry Bannan and Steven Fletcher took on Rangers’ Barrie McKay and Hibernian’s John McGinn in the most Scottish of FIFA 17 duels while on international duty.
The Owls pair used experience to their advantage, seeing off the young contenders, who played as Manchester United, by a 4-1 scoreline as Juventus.
The event, which was captured on video by the Scotland team’s official Facebook account, also featured a cameo appearance from West Bromwich Albion midfielder James Morrison, who committed the cardinal sin of walking in front of the screen while the game was in play.

McKay and McGinn started brightly and went close with an early strike from outside the box, which flew only narrowly wide and enticed the latter out of his seat with excitement.
Fletcher promptly instructed the Hibs man to “sit yourself down, man” – a blow to the youngsters’ confidence, it seemed.
And the older pair quickly seized the initiative, racing into a three-goal lead, which only increased their boisterousness.
“They cannae deal with the 3-5-2,” observed Bannan at one stage, but the two Maccas almost got back into it – pulling a goal back and winning a penalty kick late in the second half, to which the Wednesday midfielder reacted angrily: “Who’s he booking there? Wit you doin’, stupid?”

The spot-kick was subsequently saved by Gianluigi Buffon – or ‘Gigi, big poppadom hands’, as one of the Owls players called him – with Juve’s fourth and final goal arriving shortly after.
