Chelsea and Arsenal stars netted for Germany in their 3-0 win over Ireland.
Even with World Cup qualification assured Germany did not let up, picking a strong side, beating Ireland 3-0.
Sami Khedira opened the scoring in the 12th minute, with Chelsea’s Andre Schurrle adding a second in the 58th from a delightful Toni Kroos assist.
Schurrle had shaken off a minor midweek injury to be picked for Germany ahead of the highly rated Julian Draxler.
He was a threat throughout, having seven efforts on goal, while Arsenal star Mesut Ozil had five attempts, making the last one count, making in 3-0 in injury time.
