Tomas Rosicky opened the scoring for the Czech Republic v Norway this evening
It has been a good week for Arsenal star Tomas Rosicky.
The midfielder has recently been one of The Gunners most in form players – but his injury record had always made the hierarchy nervous about giving him a new deal at the club.
His contract was expiring in the summer but he was awarded for that good form this week with a brand new deal.
Rosicky now has his heart set on one goal with his Arsenal team:
“I want to win the league with Arsenal. It’s my big goal and I will do everything I can to achieve it.”
And it appears he was still on a high from that news – as he spanked in a shot from 25 yards against Norway in today’s international friendlies.
The Czech Republic star marked his 95th appearance for his nation with this strike, which might have received a helping hand from Fulham defender Brede Hangeland – as it appeared to be deflected past the rooted Orjan Nyland in the Norwegian goal…
