Roma’s Serie A clash against Parma was abandoned due to heavy rain, so the players ran laps for the fans instead.
Roma and Parma saw their match at the Stadio Olimpico abandoned after just nine minutes due to extremely heavy rain.
The Giallorossi have fallen nine points behind Juventus at the top of the table, albeit possibly temporarily, after the Old Lady beat Inter 3-1.
Roma had been looking to keep the pressure up on Juventus, but the weather intervened and the game had to be called off.
Referee Andrea Di Marco stopped the game and tested the pitch by attempting to bounce the ball twice, but it stuck in a puddle.
While both teams accepted the abandonment, the fans were disappointed and many stayed in the stands regardless.
Roma came back out on the pitch and ran some laps as a warm down, which were cheered by the supporters.
