Richarlison was handed a spot in the Brazil squad after a strong first season at Everton, having hit 13 Premier League goals.
After playing 84 minutes against Bolivia in Brazil’s first game, he was substituted for Gabriel Jesus at half time against Venezuela on Wednesday morning.
Teammate Neres didn’t fare much better, struggling to make an impact as Brazil laboured to a 0-0 draw in Salvador.
The two players are close on and off the pitch, and that’s got Everton fans excited given that the Toffees are trying to sign Ajax star Neres.

Everton fans would love to see the 12-goal, 15-assist Eredivisie title winner make the move to Goodison Park, but many will have been laughing at him.
Richarlison has taken to Instagram to post a photo of him absolutely humiliating Neres with a brilliant nutmeg in training, with Neres so embarrassed that he collapsed to the ground – and Everton fans will hope to see the pair working together in blue next season.
