Raphinha has only been an FC Barcelona player for a little over a week, but the former Leeds United star has already established himself as a hero for the La Liga giants after scoring a screamer of a goal against Real Madrid this weekend.
Facing off against each other late last night in Las Vegas, the Brazilian international scored the only goal of the evening as Raphinha’s thunderbolt from distance left Madrid’s superstar goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois in the mud, making it two goals in two pre-season matches for the 25-year-old sensation.

The transfer saga of Raphinha was one of the longest of the summer so far, but Leeds managed to resolve the issue by selling their star attacker to Barcelona for a club-record £55m, despite the Catalan side’s huge financial problems that have plagued the organisation for years.
As well as Raphinha, the European giants have also signed Robert Lewandowski as well as Andreas Christensen and Franck Kessie on free transfers, with Jules Kounde also a reported target for Barcelona, yet it’s the winger from Leeds who has so far stolen the show for Xavi Hernandez’s side.
Barcelona fans will already love Raphinha after El Classico goal

As mentioned, Raphinha was also on the scoresheet in Barcelona’s last pre-season friendly against Phil Neville’s Inter Miami, and with the attacker now scoring a beauty of a goal against Madrid, the forward is already going to be considered by many supporters as a hero for the upcoming season.
Indeed, we are all aware of Raphinha’s talents, and the Brazilian has been showcasing them all in the short space of time the attacker has been at Barcelona, much to the dismay of Leeds and their supports, who know the 25-year-old will be hard to replace this summer.
