Rangers have made a superb start to the season at senior level, and there seems to be a strong crop of young talents coming through too.
Nathan Patterson seems to be James Tavernier’s main cover at right back this season, and the club placed a strong focus on bringing in young talent over the summer.
Tony Weston arrived from Blackpool, James Graham joined from Ross County, whilst Charlie Lindsay, Malcolm Ebiowei and Aaron Cervantes have also joined.
Rangers will now hope to bring through some of their young talents, and Nathan Young-Coombes is one player that seems to have high hopes surrounding him.
Formerly of Chelsea, Young-Coombes joined Rangers in early 2019, and he showed some promise in the Gers ranks last season.
With four goals in five UEFA Youth League games, Young-Coombes showed his potential – and has now impressed fans once again.
On Tuesday, Young-Coombes posted a video of himself in action for Rangers B against Dundee reserves, a game that Rangers lost 2-1.
Young-Coombes showed off his dribbling ability as he beat four players with great footwork, posting the video alongside a question of how many times he was fouled – and Rangers will hope to see this kind of quality in the first team in the near future.
