Alnwick has impressed for Scunthorpe since leaving Rangers on loan.

Rangers goalkeeper Jak Alnwick has impressed on loan with English League One side Scunthorpe United, and he continued his fine form with an unbelievavle penalty save that he later posted on Twitter.
The 25-year-old has managed only two clean sheets in 13 outings this season, but Scunthorpe fans are delighted with the impact of the summer signing as he continues to make save after save.
Perhaps his best moment in a Scunthorpe shirt came on Saturday afternoon, as he denied Bristol Rovers midfielder Chris Lines from the penalty spot in the 76th minute away from home.
With the scores deadlocked at 1-1, Alnwick’s penalty save sprung Scunthorpe into life and two minutes later they had taken the lead, winning 2-1 at full-time. Alnwick posted a video of the eye-catching save on Twitter.
Scunthorpe sit way down the League One table in 17th place, conceding a huge 38 goals in 18 league games – which is more to do with the way manager Stuart McCall has his side playing, after he took over in August.
Alnwick was sent on loan after being considered third choice goalkeeper at Rangers by Steven Gerrard, but his form down south will have surely caught the Gers manager’s attention. His loan is set to end on January 6.
