Liverpool target Gonzalo Higuain gave a good demonstration of what he can do when he scored for Napoli 47 seconds after coming on against Slovan Bratislava.
Reports continue to circulate that Liverpool want to sign Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain and the Argentine underlined his credentials by finding the net seconds after entering the pitch against Slovan Bratislava.
Napoli won the Europa League tie to ease the pressure on coach Rafa Benitez with Marek Hamsik also finding the net on his return home.
Liverpool have repeatedly been linked to Higuain for some time, but Napoli have no intention of selling him despite reports that he is unsettled.
It is suggested that Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis would only be forced to let Higuain go should his release clause be met, which is just under a whopping £80 million.
While the defending isn’t brilliant, Higuain immediately drifts into a dangerous position and takes full advantage with a well-placed header like a true predator.
