Leeds United fans and Pontus Jansson seem to have a mutual adoration.
Based on his no-nonsense performances and connection with the supporters, Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson is adored by the club’s fans.
And when you see videos like this, it’s very easy to see why,
Jansson, serving the first of a two-match ban, travelled with the team as Leeds beat Bolton Wanderers 3-2 in their first Championship match of the season.

And the big Swede, donning a tracksuit, made his way on to the pitch at full time to acknowledge the travelling support and briefly celebrate the victory with the fans.
There has been a real re-connection between United and its fans over the past year or so and Jansson has played a big role in such a renewed bond between both parties.
It was a great start to the campaign for Thomas Christiansen’s side, who were 2-0 ahead by the half-hour mark due to goals from Kalvin Phillips and Chris Wood.
The Whites midfielder added a third shortly before the break after Gary Madine briefly reduced the arrears, while Adam Le Fondre smashed home a penalty midway through the second half but it was not enough to deny the visitors.
