Nottingham Forest fans have been dealt a positive injury update from one of their main men this week – as Nicklas Bendtner posted this video on his Instagram page.

The Danish striker was stretchered out of the recent win against Birmingham City with what looked like a very serious ankle problem. But the damage was not as bad as first feared and he is clearly on the comeback trail – as this video showed.
Bendtner, who is obviously not in a position to do much weight bearing exercise at present, took to swimming on order to get back on track and maintain his fitness:
Bendtner was putting in perhaps his best performance yet for Forest in the win against former loan club when he suffered the injury and Forest fans will be hoping that he can produce some magic upon his return.
The club are currently fighting at the wrong end of the Championship table, with a recent run of two defeats to struggling sides Blackburn Rover and Cardiff City a real cause for concern.
Next up for the Reds it is Reading away. They will surely wish Bendtner was fit for this game
