Move over Beckham, you’ve been outdone. Step forward 34-year-old Jair Benitez who lit up Major League Soccer over the weekend.
The Colombian scored a simply stunning goal for FC Dallas in a 3-1 win over the Vancouver Whitecaps.
His goal came in the final 10 minutes of the game, with the score at 2-1, putting the result beyond doubt.
Benitez is a former international of seven caps, and the unfortunate goalkeeper is Danish journeyman David Ousted.
