Liverpool have signed some greats of the game, but they have also brought in some, well, also-rans.

During the Premier League era, Liverpool fans saw a plethora of world class players running out at Anfield. From Steven Gerrard to Luis Suarez, and Philippe Coutinho to Xabi Alonso, Reds supporters have been treated to some real greats of the game, but they have also witnessed a few less than impressive players grace the pitch.

The question remains though – who is the worst player Liverpool have had in the Premier League era? HITC Sport’s Adam Partington went to find out what the fans at Anfield think.

World class players are hard to come by, but there are far too many flops in the game and many of them have turned up to put on a red shirt in front of the Kop.

Djimi Traore won the Champions League in 2005 with the club, playing a part in the famous comeback against Istanbul, but he still got stick from Liverpool supporters.

When Roy Hodgson became manager after leaving Fulham, he brought left back Paul Konchesky with him, and while he was a solid enough player for the Cottagers, he wasn’t quite up the high standards of Liverpool.

One fan went back to the days of Gerard Houllier, naming Bruno Cheyrou and El Hadji Diouf as two of Liverpool’s worst ever players.
