Sturridge’s career at Anfield started very rosy alongside Luis Suarez, but it has all gone sour since the Uruguayan left the club, with many months spent out injured.

It is fair to say that Reds fans wouldn’t be too upset if Sturridge was to leave the club.
The England international came in for a lot of stick, with his injury record and poor work rate given as reasons for him to leave Anfield. Since Klopp took over from Brendan Rodgers, Liverpool have been playing 100 miles per hour, heavy metal football, but Sturridge doesn’t suit that style of play.

It’s not all sour towards Sturridge, however, with many supporters preaching about how good he once was, especially when he was paired with their former talisman Suarez.
Whether Sturridge is ready to call time on his Liverpool career remains to be seen, but it the fans appear to have have made up their minds.
