The Liverpool boss has been linked with a move to the German giants after their shaky start to the Bundesliga season.
After Liverpool’s fantastic start to the 2016/2017 season, German boss Jurgen Klopp, has begun to draw some attention from the giants of world football.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, considering Liverpool’s blistering form this season, scoring a massive 35 goals in their first 14 games (an average of 2.5 goals a game), the Reds now look to be facing a struggle to keep away interest from Europe’s biggest teams, including Klopp’s former team’s biggest rival: Bayern Munich.
Bayern Munich coach Carlo Ancelotti and assistant coach Paul Clement
Falling behind shock leaders RB Leipzig, Bayern Munich have struggled to reach the heights seen under Pep Guardiola in recent years, with many claiming that the energy and intensity in the side has all but gone under new boss, Carlo Ancelotti. With Klopp’s Liverpool side arguably playing some of the most energetic football in Europe at the moment, the idea of him being the perfect man to reinvigorate Bayern certainly makes sense.
With that in mind, HITC Sport spoke to Liverpool fans to see what they made of this potential managerial tug-of-war. “Not a chance” seemed the most common response, as Liverpool fan’s dismissed the link wholeheartedly. One fan even suggested he was going to stay to “make Liverpool great again”.
