Liverpool forward Ryan Kent bagged a brace as England’s Under-18s secured a comfortable win against Hungary.
Liverpool have one of the best youth setups in the country and a core of superb young talent, which supplies first team boss Brendan Rodgers with youngsters to mix in alongside more established and experienced stars.
Ryan Kent has a long way to go before he gets anywhere near the Liverpool first team but he’s playing well, above his age group and he’s grabbing attention in a positive way.

Kent was one of the stand out performers as the England Under-18s secured an easy 4-0 win against Hungary, suggesting he may soon progress to Under-19 level for his country, taking part in important European qualifiers.
Here’s a little more about him as well as his goals against Hungary.
1) Born in Oldham, Kent joined Liverpool as an Under-9 player and has stayed with the club ever since.
2) He featured for the Under-16 and Under-18 teams last season, playing in the NextGen series.
3) He covers multiple positions across the midfield, playing as a winger or as an attacking midfielder.
4) He was one of the highest scoring teenagers in pre-season for Liverpool, bagging four goals from friendly appearances.
