Pontus Jansson is already adored by Leeds United fans for his no-nonsense, passionate performances during an exceptional debut season at Elland Road.
But the Swedish defender might be regarded slightly higher than before when supporters of the Yorkshire club see the latest video of him.
Leeds’ first team got their pre-season preparations underway on Monday but Jansson was given an extended break after spending time on international duty earlier this month.
Nevertheless, the 26-year-old is clearly doing his own preparations for the 2017-18 campaign after his new wife Asa Thornell filmed her husband training in their back garden on Monday evening.
It’s an impressive show of dedication from the towering centre-back, whose wedding to Thornell was only on Saturday, and United fans clearly appreciated such commitment for another love in his life – Leeds.
Jansson will hope to be available when Thomas Christiansen’s side kick off their Championship campaign with a trip to newly-promoted Bolton Wanderers on August 6.
