Everton secured Premier League survival in dramatic fashion on Thursday evening, and now, footage has emerged of the celebrations in the changing room after the match.

The Toffees’ official YouTube channel have released a video of the post-match celebrations, and as you can imagine, there was a mix of jubilation and relief amongst the squad.

Every player was filled with emotion after the game, but for Seamus Coleman, you could see it meant that much more.

Frank Lampard spoke incredibly highly of Coleman after the game, serenading him in front of the entire dressing room.

As you can see in the above video, Lampard wanted everyone to know just how much he loves Coleman.

“This fella, this fella is, to say in front of everyone, he’s one of the best people I’ve ever met, as a man and what you are and as a player,” Lampard told his entire squad.

Coleman may not have been one of Everton’s very best players this season, but his experience and leadership have been invaluable this season, especially since Lampard took over.

You could see at every single stage of this season that Coleman was up for the fight, and his ability to lead by example has dragged the Toffees over the line.

To receive this sort of praise from Lampard is massive. After all, the ex-Chelsea man has worked with some fantastic characters and leaders during his playing and managerial career.

Coleman absolutely deserves the praise he’s received from Lampard.
