A video shared by Tottenham’s official Twitter account today shows Jan Vertonghen back in high-intensity training ahead of the start of the new season.

The 29-year old seems to be approaching full fitness and with four days left until Spurs travel to Goodison Park, he may just be ready in time for kick-off.
Tottenham have been without a natural left-sided centre-back for the bulk of pre-season, with Vertonghen injured and Kevin Wimmer mysteriously absent from the club’s most recent friendlies.
