Third in the Championship, can the Terriers achieve promotion to the top-flight for the first time in 45 years?
They’ve been arguably the shock of the season so far, but Huddersfield Town could well be on their way to the Premier League this season. The Terriers have been transformed by new manager David Wagner, with supporters dubbing it the ‘Wagner Revolution’, and in third place, they look to have all but secured their place in the play-offs.
But can they do it? Or is promotion still just a dream for Huddersfield Town fans? We all know how much of a lottery those last three games can be, and that anything is possible.
So, HITC Sport travelled to meet Huddersfield Town fans, to gather their thoughts on their chances of promotion.

The optimism was through the roof at the Kirklees Stadium, with most fans giving a resounding “yes” when asked whether their team would be in the Premier League next season. Other Huddersfield Town fans were quietly confident the Terriers could sneak into one of the top two spots by the end of the season, with one supporter suggesting it “all depends on Brighton.”
“If we can keep this run going, and it’s a big if, I’m not taking it for granted. If we can [keep it going] particularly against Newcastle, Norwich and Villa, Reading too on Tuesday, they’re major major competition, but we’re doing very well” added another Huddersfield Town fan, who was clearly keeping his feet on the ground.
It seems Huddersfield Town fans have been stung before, with one claiming they often manage to “snap defeat from the jaws of victory”, and therefore you won’t find many Huddersfield Town fans getting carried away.
