Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain, previously linked to Arsenal, scored a superb goal in Argentina’s friendly with Italy.
Gonzalo Higuain is looking forward to terrorising Italian defences in Serie A next season, and sent an early warning last night.
The striker was in action for Argentina against Italy, and wasted no time in showing what he could do.
He lashed a 20th minute opener past a helpless Gianluigi Buffon to put his side 1-0 up, with Argentina going onto win 2-1.
With Napoli aiming to sustain a title challenge to rival Buffon’s Juventus next season, Higuain will hope it is not the last he scores past the veteran goalkeeper.
