But while they have brought in one Ivory Coast international yesterday, one former Ivorian at Leeds has made the headlines today.
The Ivory Coast have struggled to find their best form at the African Cup of Nations so far. They drew their first game with Guinea 1-1 and toiled against Mali in their second game earlier today.
They went 1-0 down when Wolves winger Bakary Sako smashed home a half volley from a tight angle. Thankfully, former Leeds star Max Gradel was on hand to earn the Ivory Coast a vital point.
The 27-year-old spent time on loan at Leeds in 2009 before joining permanently in 2010. He became a hero at the club, scoring 25 goals in 85 appearances for the club before heading to Saint-Etienne in 2011.
He found space in the area to keep Ivory Coast in the hunt for qualification to the next stage and hopefully cement himself in the starting line-up for the rest of the competition.
