Arsenal sold Henri Lansbury to Nottingham Forest in the summer and he is coming good.
Henri Lansbury played in the same England under-21 side as Danny Welbeck and Daniel Sturridge, but denied any first team prospects at Arsenal he elected to drop down to the Football League last summer.
He may not have wanted to leave his prospects of Premier League football behind, but ‘one step back, to take two forwards’ was clearly in his thoughts.
At Nottingham Forest he landed with an ambitious club, one who were taken over earlier this season and despite a succession of managers, have risen to sixth in the play-off race.
Lansbury has taken his while to settle in at the City Ground and find his form, but he now has four goals in his last five games courtesy of a brace at the weekend in a 3-1 victory over Wolves.
You can check out both of his strikes below…
Will Lansbury one day make Arsenal regret selling him?
