The two Tottenham stars were light heartedly working on their methods of communication on the pitch.

Tottenham Hotspur have been having some fun with Erik Lamela and Danny Rose this week, actually, more fun of the England man, in a video uploaded by Spurs TV on Twitter.

The two internationals were recorded giving language lessons, only this time it was the Englishman trying to learn an extra thing or two.

Argentinian Lamela spoke a number of phrases in Spanish for Rose to try and repeat and interpret, with questionable results, including one on Arsenal. Check out the video below:

It is excellent to see the two Spurs stars in such good spirits, and so they should be after a weekend that saw the North Londoners comprehensively defeat the only team ahead of them in the league. Both Rose and Lamela played vital roles in the 2-0 win over Manchester City, Rose supplying the cross that was put into the City net for the opener and Lamela having the chance to get on the scoresheet before his penalty was saved by Claudio Bravo.

It is also further evidence of an improved social media outreach the club have demonstrated in the last couple of seasons, as the gap between supporters and players gets narrower and narrower, at least on social networks.

Both Lamela and Rose are expected to feature for their countries over the international break.
