Teenage defender Brad Smith scored the pick of the goals as Liverpool’s Under-21 side thrashed Tottenham 5-0
Liverpool’s Under-21 side stayed in fourth place as they secured three points and piled on the misery even more for the current Tottenham Hotspur setup.
Goals from Adam Morgan, Cameron Brannagan, Ryan McLaughlin, Joao Teixeira and a particular superb effort from defender Brad Smith ensured Liverpool stayed within three points from West Ham United and Sunderland and the top of the league.
Spurs struggled to get back into the game after missing chances at 1-0 down as Liverpool named a side with a strong defence including Andre Wisdom and Aly Cissokho.
