Chelsea youngster Charly Musonda scored the winner for the club’s under-21 side at the weekend.
Charly Musonda left Chelsea’s pre-season training camp in Austria early to feature in the club’s under-21 match against Crawley Town.
Patrick Bamford also flew back to feature, as the Blues notched a 3-2 win.
The early goals came from Ola Aina and Charlie Colkett, before Musonda scored a late winner from 35 yards out.
Manager Ade Viveash told Chelsea’s website: “‘It’s a fantastic day for us in terms of the result. We’ve come here and beat a league team with a lot of young squad members involved, particularly at the end of the game, and that gives me a lot of pride in their performance.”
