Edinson Cavani was on the scoresheet for Napoli last night.
Uruguay took a big step towards World Cup qualification for next year’s finals in Brazil with a 1-0 win away to Venezuela in the early hours of this morning.
The scorer of their goal was Edinson Cavani, the Napoli striker linked with a big move away from the club.
Cavani is valued at around £50 million by the Italian club, a fee both Chelsea and Manchester City are believed to be considering laying out.
His goal will have done little to dissuade either side that he is worth shelling out on, and with international fixtures fulfilled, the transfer chase is now expected to hot up.
