Aston Villa beat Birmingham City 1-0 on Sunday afternoon.

Aston Villa claimed bragging rights and all three points on Sunday afternoon with a 1-0 victory over bitter rivals Birmingham City.
The game was somewhat marred by a shocking attack from a Birmingham fan on Villa star Jack Grealish, but the playmaker had the last laugh.
Grealish popped up with the winning goal for Villa in the second half, providing the perfect response to a despicable moment at St Andrews.
Villa fans both at the ground and around the world will have been ecstatic with the win, completing a league double over their city rivals this season.
An ex-Villa player was even in the away end at St Andrews, as Preston North End star Callum Robinson returned to cheer on his former club, as seen in the Instagram video he posted, which was captured by Villa Report on Twitter.
Robinson came up through the youth ranks at Villa Park but was sold in 2016 for just £170,000 (Lancashire Evening Post), and is now a Republic of Ireland international.
The 24-year-old hit nine goals in the first 18 games of this season before suffering a major hamstring injury in November, and Villa would no doubt love to have him back at Villa Park.
That’s unlikely given what Preston would now demand for a player seemingly destined for the Premier League, but his presence amongst the Villa fans on Sunday shows he still loves the club who gave him his start in the game, and there is no bad blood despite him being offlloaded three years ago.
