Arsenal youngster Yaya Sanogo can’t stop scoring for France.
Arsenal youngster Yaya Sanogo is sharpening his scoring touch, despite being yet to find the net for his club in a competitive shirt.
Sanogo scored again on Monday night for France’s under-21 side, following up a brace against Kazakhstan last week.
This goal was the opener against Iceland, but it was not enough to win the game for the side, which finished 1-1.
Sanogo scored four times in one game against Benfica in pre-season but is yet to open his account in a meaningful fixture.
With new teammate Danny Welbeck netting for England against Switzerland, Sanogo will at least be heading back to the Gunners with added confidence as he battles for a place against Manchester City this weekend, with Olivier Giroud out injured until December.
