On a weekend Arsenal really could have done with even just a tap in, on loan attacker Jon Toral scored one of the goals of the season.
The young Spaniard netted a sensational volley for Birmingham City from outside the box, helping the Championship side to a 3-0 victory over Ipswich Town.
The goal was overshadowed by a Premier League volley from Dele Alli of Tottenham Hotspur, who netted a special strike against Crystal Palace, but Toral’s had it’s own merit too.
The young Spaniard is really developing well for Birmingham, and stating his case that he should be part of Arsenal’s first team squad next season.
The former Barcelona youngster has helped Birmingham into the play-off spots, and now has six goals and three assists for the season.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder could be an exciting back up for Mesut Ozil, who for all his talent and assists, is yet to hit a stunning volley like Toral has, since his club record transfer to Arsenal three years ago.
