A video has surfaced of Folarin Balogun, who was seen putting a picture of himself in an Arsenal shirt on his nameplate inside the dressing room.
The 21-year-old is making waves in Ligue 1 as he has scored the joint-second highest number of goals (16), with only Kylian Mbappe (19) and Jonathan David (19) outscoring him in the division.
While it was reported that clubs in the Premier League are looking to prise Folarin Balogun away from Arsenal, the picture of his inside the Reims dressing room could be a hint into his future plans.

The £50 million-rated ‘phenom’ is attracting interest from a wide array of European teams and rightfully so, considering he is one of the most talented young strikers on the planet. This remains a worry amongst the Gunners fanbase as his talent has been vindicated in France.

However, it seems as if Folarin Balogun seems committed to making the cut at Arsenal as he was seen putting a picture of him in the club’s shirt inside the Reims dressing room on his nameplate.
In a video shared by AFC Stuff, the wonderkid goes on to say, “This is my spot. That’s a trophy I won for being the best player of the first half of the season. I was happy when I got that.”
Seems like Balogun is still intent on returning to Arteta’s side
Not to suggest that Arsenal fans should take the gesture by face value but it is interesting that considering Folarin Balogun has been linked with an exit, he decided to put a picture of him in Arsenal shirt on Reims’ dressing room nameplate.
After all, the Hale End graduate could simply inch towards making a transfer and not showcase any signs of his affinity towards his boyhood club.
That may well be a sign that Balogun has blocked out all the noise and his mind is made up on his plans for the future.
