Are Arsenal set to lose another player to the blue half of Manchester?
Despite putting in a number of a decent performances for Arsenal this season, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could well be in line to depart the Emirates in the upcoming January transfer window, according to a recent report in the Sun – with Manchester City the reported destination. Featuring 15 times for the Gunners, but playing 90 minutes of football just once, Oxlade-Chamberlain has found his chances for regular first team football few and far between over the last few years.
This can mostly be put down to the England midfielder’s injury record. So far, since playing for Arsenal, Oxlade-Chamberlain has failed to go a full season without picking up a significant injury, making it difficult for him to fully gel into the Arsenal side. As an ever-present personality in the dressing room, Oxlade-Chamberlain is one of the more popular players at the Emirates, and still has a potentially bright future ahead of him.
With this in mind, HITC Sport asked Arsenal fans what they thought about the rumours surrounding Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s possible departure.

“I think if the money was right I’d be happy to let him go” said one Arsenal fan, when asked how he would feel about the possibility of the Ox leaving for Manchester City. “I think his performances are too inconsistent, he’s a good dribbler, he’s good on the ball but he just doesn’t produce often enough for me.”
“He’s always had a lot of promise” added another Arsenal fan, “and I prefer him to Walcott to be honest.” Clearly Oxlade-Chamberlain is a player that splits opinion at the Emirates stadium.
