The defender is all set for his West Ham comeback this weekend.

West Ham United have not had the best of starts to the new season, with the move to the London Stadium clearly a factor in their troubles.

However, injuries have also been a mounting problem for the Hammers this season.

Aaron Cresswell was one of the first to go. The left-back suffered a knee ligament injury in July and has not yet played in the Premier League this season.

The defender’s absence has been remarked upon on numerous occasions by the West Ham fans as a big reason for their poor run of form recently.

But Hammers fans can be excited, as Cresswell is nearing his return to action. He could feature in the Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace at the weekend and West Ham posted a video on the club Twitter account earlier today to highlight his return to action.

The left-back scored this goal earlier today in training, showing little signs of residual damage from his time on the sidelines:

West Ham fans will no doubt be licking their lips at the sight of Cresswell back in full flow.

Hopefully he can help turn around their fortunes after a difficult start to the season.
