Liverpool youth star Yan Dhanda bagged a brace an in England under-16 win.
Liverpool did superbly to fend off Arsenal when they did a deal with West Brom to sign talented teenage prospect Yan Dhanda.
The versatile attacking 15-year-old has made it one of his main aims to become the first Indian born star to play in the Premier League and the good news for Liverpool is that he’s already showcasing his ability on a high pressure stage.
Dhanda starred as England’s under-16 side secured a 4-1 win against Denmark to respond to defeat to Spain in their first game of a UEFA Development Tournament.
Dhanda, who usually plays in midfield, was asked to play in a false number nine role and he bagged two goals and one assist during the match, showing some of the potential which made Liverpool so keen to sign him.
Dhanda’s first goal showcased great composure from the penalty spot while his second was a strong finish from close range. Liverpool certainly have one hell of a talent on their hands.
