Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama raves about the club’s new stadium.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama has been speaking passionately about the club’s fantastic new stadium.
Wanyama has played regularly over the last few weeks, due to injuries in the Tottenham midfield.
He is finally fit again and is feeling inspired by the opportunity to play in front of 60,000 fans on a regular basis.
Wanyama told the club’s match program against Brighton, reported by Football London that this was a stadium he could barely dream of growing up.
He said: “I think the new stadium is great and the fans make it even better with how they cheer the team on.
“Our new home, it’s among the best I’ve ever seen in the world. The noise you can hear, it gives you a lift. Whenever anything happens on the pitch, whether you’re going to attack or defend, you can feel the support from the fans.
“To go from [the streets of Kenya] to a world class stadium like this is just unbelievable. It’s everyone’s dream.
“I could never have seen that coming back then, but now I have this opportunity to play in this stadium so I have to take it and give my best.”

It could get even better for Wanyama when he features for Tottenham in the Champions League against Ajax next week.
The atmosphere will be terrific and Spurs need a performance to match.
Even despite their injury problems, Mauricio Pochettino’s side are doing enough to get by, and will still fancy their chances against the Dutch underdogs.
