Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama is clearly a big admirer of Mousa Dembele.

Wanyama and Dembele have often partnered each other in midfield, and the Kenyan is a huge fan of the former Fulham man.
Indeed, even though Spurs have the likes of Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen and Toby Alberweireld at the club, Wanyama feels that Dembele is the best player available to Mauricio Pochettino.
“Mousa Dembele,” Wanyama said, when asked who’s Spurs’ best player. “He glides past players easily in training and in games. You know what he’s going to do, but you can’t get the ball off him.”

Dembele is a real players’ player at Spurs, and almost always is named by his teammates when they are asked who the best player in the squad is.
Dembele’s combination of power and speed makes him a real threat from central midfield.
The Belgian international has struggled with injuries this season though, and is yet to show his top form.

Dembele hobbled off in Tottenham’s last match, which came against Southampton at the weekend.
Dembele has now made 20 appearances across all competitions this season, but he is yet to provide a goal or an assist.
