Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on signing the Ajax ace.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino will surely be keen to bolster his central midfield ranks this summer.
Spurs lost Mousa Dembele to China in January, and they have clearly missed the Belgian.
Victor Wanyama is a decent, hard-working midfielder, but he is not in Dembele’s league, and Pochettino should move the Kenyan on this summer.
The Argentine would then obviously have to bring in a replacement, and Ajax ace Donny van de Beek would be just the ticket.
The 22-year-old would be a real upgrade on Wanyama, and he might just take Spurs to that elusive next level.
Italian publication Calcio Mercato claimed back in February that Tottenham are keen on the Ajax ace, and according to a report from FC Inter News he could be available for around €50 million (£43 million) this summer.

The Holland international has been in quite simply breathtaking form this season, racking up 16 goals and 11 assists in 53 appearances in all competitions for Ajax thus far.
Van de Beek is on another planet to Wanyama in a technical sense, and the Spurs man, who earns £65,000 per week according to Spotrac, surely needs to be replaced this summer, if Tottenham are to make genuine progress.
The Ajax man would bring a certain level of composure, quality in possession and an impressive array of passing to Spurs’ midfield, and for the reported fee of just £43 million, he really would be an outstanding addition for the north London outfit.
