Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama was arguably Mauricio Pochettino’s side’s man of the man against Arsenal.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama has admitted to the club’s official website that he has found it difficult in their first-team recently.
Wanyama picked up a back injury at the start of April, which caused him to miss Spurs’ matches against both Swansea City and Watford.
And it is only recently that Wanyama has begun to feel back to his best, after his latest injury problems.

“I think it was much better for me, I enjoyed playing,” Wanyama said, after the North London derby victory.
“It has been tough for me after my injury to come back and to get going has been very difficult, so now I’m starting feeling like I’m getting back into it again and hopefully I can keep the good performances going.
“To me, honestly, I was doing well until I got injured. To come back was not easy because of how we want to play. It was a little bit difficult for me, but now I feel like I’m getting sharper and I’m getting stronger.”

Wanyama may have not felt as his sharpest of late for Spurs, but his performance against Arsenal was hugely impressive.
The Kenyan was arguably Spurs’ man of the match against their rivals, as they picked up a 2-0 victory.
Wanyama has unquestionably proved himself as Spurs’ best signing from last summer, with his displays this season drawing a lot of praise.
The former Southampton man appears to have built up a brilliant partnership with Mousa Dembele in the heart of Tottenham’s midfield.
And Wanyama looks likely to continue to play a key part for Spurs over the remainder of the campaign.
