Victor Anichebe has joined Sunderland until the end of the season.

Former Everton and West Bromwich Albion forward Victor Anichebe has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at joining Sunderland.
As announced on Sunderland’s official website on Friday, Anichebe has joined the Black Cats on a free transfer.
The Nigeria international forward has signed a contract with the Premier League club until the end of the season.
The 28-year-old was a free agent, having been released by Premier League side West Brom at the end of the 2015-16 campaign.

Anichebe has taken to Twitter to express his delight at joining Sunderland on a free transfer.
The former Everton and West Brom forward is also looking forward to working with David Moyes again.
The Nigerian played under the current Sunderland manager at Merseyside outfit Everton.

Sunderland have made a disappointing start to the season and are set to fight against relegation from the Premier League.
The Black Cats find themselves 16th in the league table at the moment with just a point from three matches.
Moyes’s side will take on Everton at the Stadium of Light in the Premier League after the international break.
