Sunderland signing backed to be a success.

Sunderland have signed Kazaiah Sterling on loan from Tottenham Hotspur, the club confirmed on their official website.
It’s a big opportunity for Sterling to get regular game time at a competitive level and step up from under-23 football.
He had only played one first team game this season as a substitute.
The move has been greeted with scepticism from Sunderland fans, who were hoping for a more proven striker.
Former Sunderland forward Victor Anichebe has given Sterling his backing.

Responding to Sunderland’s official Instagram post, he replied: “Exciting young talent! He’s gonna do great with the great support behind him! Push for promotion ❤️”
Sunderland currently sit in fifth place in League One, with three games in hand on first placed Luton.
If they can win all of them then they would draw level on points with the Hatters.
